My Story & Approach
My name is William Lee. I am a psychosynthesis counsellor based near Old Street, Shoreditch, East London, offering therapy in-person and online across the UK. I come from a background of various healing modalities.
I came to counselling during a difficult period in my own life, when I was struggling with relationship issues, unresolved past trauma, and career challenges. I also experienced how difficult it can be to reach out for support before things reach a breaking point.
Eventually, I began therapy myself and found a counsellor I was able to trust. Through this therapeutic relationship, I was able to explore my vulnerability and begin to process experiences that had been held for a long time.
This experience shaped the way I work today as a therapist, creating a safe and supportive space for clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, stress and emotional overwhelm.
Clinical & Professional Background
I co-founded Kuu London, an osteopathy and complementary therapy clinic, where I gained experience in both medical and holistic approaches to health and wellbeing.
I have worked as a Solution Focused Therapist within Lambeth NHS, providing structured, goal-oriented therapy to support people experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, trauma and complex presentations. I have worked with individuals at higher levels of risk and trauma within IAPT Step 3 services.
I am trained in Transpersonal Psychosynthesis Counselling, with a focus on childhood trauma and its ongoing impact on present-day emotional and relational patterns. I also facilitate men’s group retreats.
My wider practice is informed by long-term meditation, self-inquiry, and the study of contemplative traditions. I have experience teaching meditation and integrating mind-body approaches to support emotional regulation and awareness.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy cycling, guitar, and spending time building Lego with my child.

Brief Deep Therapy
This is a space to gently explore the deeper roots of emotional patterns—not just manage symptoms, but understand and transform them.
Sessions take place weekly via Zoom, beginning with a 6-week journey, with the option to extend to 9 or 12 sessions if needed.
Together, we’ll create a steady, supportive space for clarity, healing, and meaningful change.
Meditation Teacher
With over a decade of experience in meditation, I draw from Vedic traditions, self-inquiry, and deep practice. I have guided students of all levels, fostering inner awareness and presence.
I also incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, inner child work, and somatic release to support deep healing and transformation.
Healing workshops & Men Retreats
Through sound and meditation, this process guides you inward—activating the nervous system to simultaneously inducing deep relaxation and heightened awareness.
It helps release emotional blocks, restore balance, and build resilience by teaching the body to stay grounded in intense emotional states.
